Florida Concealed Carry Address Change

What’s Up Sheepdogs? Ryan here with Tampa Carry.

Wondering “how do I change my address on my concealed weapons permit?” The process for a Florida CCW address change is actually really simple and luckily Tampa Carry gathered all the links and information for you!

How to Change the Address on my CWP:

Prior to 2010, the State of Florida required your home address to be listed right on your Concealed Weapons Permit. This is no longer the case.

Following concealed carry law, you're required to notify the Division of Licensing online within 30 days of your changing address on a concealed carry permit. The State will not issue you a revised permit for this. They simply need to keep up with your records.

The process is fairly simple, as is the permit application. Start by entering your Name, Concealed Weapons Permit number and date of birth. Your social security number is optional. Next you're going to update your contact information.

The last step is to enter your previous address and your current residence address.

Finally click the submit button and you're finished.

That’s it! There’s no fee you have to pay, no check or money order. It’s just an online fix, and you’re done.

Here is a link to update your address with the Florida Division of Licensing.
